Nephrologist: Cincinnati, OH & Lawrenceburg, IN

This position requires the physician to diagnose and provide non-surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems, especially the kidneys. To describe, he will treat patients with kidney diseases of various types, including those who have lost kidney function entirely and must rely on dialysis or kidney transplant.

Because the kidney is intimately involved in the control of blood pressure, the nephrologist is also an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Additionally, he will take the history and examination of patients, order laboratory analyses, x-ray procedures and other diagnostic tests, analyze finding, diagnose conditions, administer and prescribe necessary treatments such as drugs, vaccinations and other treatments. 40 hr/wk, M-F 8am-5pm, but hours may vary, call and some weekends are required.

Medical doctor degree or foreign equivalent, three years family or internal medicine residency, two years nephrology fellowship, Board Certified/Board Eligible, and Medical License for state of Ohio and Indiana. Work locations in Cincinnati, Ohio and Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
